Hawaii Largest Fishing Tournament!

"Our tournaments are for the pleasure of the fishermen in the area and the enjoyment of our community. The people that put the tournament on are completely volunteers. All there efforts are from their hearts and always in the best intent of the rules. These rules are reviewed every year to make sure that they are up to date and as equal as possible. Everyone is human but that is why we have guide lines set in place to handle situations that come up. The big thing to remember is we are here to do our best."

Previous President and Founders of the Waianae Boat Fishing Club and the Ahi Fever Tournament

MAHALO NUI LOA!

Aloha and welcome to the WBFC website and home of Ahi Fever in Wai'anae!

I have been a member of the Waianae Boat Fishing Club (WBFC) since 1996. Each year we are honored and privileged to have new faces join us and help the WBFC stay on the "right course" as well as help other fishermen at the same time.

If you are fishermen (it doesn’t matter if you don’t fish anymore) or enjoy the ocean currently or would like to help keep our harbor clean and safe, then this is the club for you! Ideas and helpful hands are always welcomed. Membership is easy and our membership chairpersons will be glad to help you get started.

We hope you enjoy all of the features the WBFC has to offer. If you have any comments, questions or suggestions please contact us and we’ll be happy to answer all your questions whether it's about Ahi Fever, our funding programs, volunteering, ideas on cleanups or about the WBFC.

Our general membership meeting is the first Thursday of each month at 7 pm at the Wai'anae Boat Harbor office. Stop by and meet our members! The WBFC phone number is 696-3399 (phone is located at the harbor office so rarely is anyone there to answer this line and no answer machine is provided). The best way to contact us is via e-mail thru this site and response is normally fast. "Sea" Ya!!
