Waianae Based Tournaments

The Waianae Boat Fishing Club has a tournament for club members once a month, except in July when we have the Ahi Fever for everyone. These monthly tournaments are for points only and awards are given at our yearly banquet at the end of Janurary every year. Points are as follows:
5 points for entering, 10 points for 6th place, 20 points for 5th place, 40 points for 4th place, 60 points for 3rd, 80 for 2nd place and 100 points for 1st place. You loose the 5 points for entering when you place, you receive 5 points only if you did not place.
Rules are jungle rules and made for fun. Members can enjoy and keep their compeditive edge and sharpen their tournament skills at the same time checking safe conditions is always on the table . The monthly tournament is always the saturday after the first general meeting (Thursday) and if bad weather may change it to the 2nd saturday and if that is still bad weather a total cancellation for that month. Our Common phone number for bad weather is 973-4382. Our general meeting is always the 1st Thursday of the month so sometimes the way the dates go it might end up being held on the second sat rather then the first. And there is a $5 fee per participating member.
Fishing Times are 6:30 to 4:30 September thru March and 6:00 to 4:00 April thru August
Radio Communications are on channel 23 unless otherwise notified.
